Chameleons
Chameleons, Chameleons are a type of lizards, famous for changing color. Chameleons hang out and live conforming their colors, for example a green chameleon would hang out in green leaves of grass. They do that to hide from predators and catch their prey. An interesting fact about Chameleons is that they turn darker to warm up and lighter to cool down. Chameleons may also change color when they are angry or frighten, also they change colors to send messages to other chameleon specie. The biggest chameleon in the world has been a cat-sized. Most of them live in the forest, they are a type of reptiles. Scientist have proved in the world there are 180 species of Chameleons in the world but mostly are endangered. The Chameleons taxonomy is Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Chordata, Class: Reptilia, Order: Squamata, Family: Chamaeleonidae, Genus: Furcifer, Species: Furcifer pardalis.
